LOCATION OF THE COURT

The Carroll County Superior Court is located at 96 Water Village Road, Ossipee, New Hampshire. DIRECTIONS

TELEPHONE

Call the pre-recorded Jury Line at 1-800-445-4468 (in NH) after 5:00 PM, the evening before you are scheduled to report to confirm your reporting date and time. In the event of a last minute change, this is the only notice you will receive. In the event of inclement weather, call the Jury Line after 6:30 AM on your scheduled reporting date to confirm your reporting date and time. If you have a question or concern, you may call the Clerk's Office between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

PARKING

A large parking lot is located directly in front of the courthouse.

 ATTENDANCE

If there is an emergency situation that prevents you from appearing on a day you are scheduled to report, call the clerk's office immediately.

All requests for exemptions and postponements must be in writing and received by the court, along with your juror questionnaire by the date specified in your letter from the court. No requests for exemptions or postponements can be handled by telephone. 

NOTE: IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR FOR JURY DUTY YOU COULD BE HELD IN CONTEMPT OF COURT.

Grand Jury Service:

As a Grand Juror, you are required to report to the Carroll County Superior Court for service on the dates listed in the letter you received. Each session typically lasts into the afternoon. Please plan accordingly.

Petit Jury Service

As a juror, you are required to report to the Carroll County Superior Court for jury selection on the dates listed in the letter you received. If you are selected for one or more juries, the presiding justice will advise you when the trial(s) will take place.
