CONCORDChief Justice David A. Brock today announced the release of the 2001 Annual Report of the Judicial Branch, a comprehensive review of the work of the New Hampshire court system over the past 12 months, including financial data for FY 2001 and caseload statistics.
"We believe that producing an annual report is a very effective and efficient way for us to communicate with the public about what we do," the Chief Justice said. The Chief Justice noted that the 2001 Annual Report is dedicated to the employees of the court system. In his message in the report, the Chief Justice commended them for their "steadfast commitment to the administration of justice."
The annual report is available on the Judicial Branch website at www.state.nh.us/courts/home.htm. Printed copies will be available for review by February 1 at public and academic libraries around the state. Copies will also be available at court clerks offices throughout New Hampshire.
The 2001 annual report contains background on the Supreme Court, the Superior, District and Probate Courts and the Family Division, a report from the Administrative Office of the Courts, a technology update, a review of issues before the legislature and a section on the accountability of the Judicial Branch.
Three thousand copies of the report were produced and printed for $6,177.
