Lenz Named Carroll
County Clerk
CONCORDSuperior Court Chief Justice Robert J. Lynn announced today that
Attorney
Patricia A. Lenz, a former Superior Court law clerk now in private practice in Portsmouth,
has been named Clerk of Carroll County Superior Court. Her appointment follows the
retirement in May of Samuel C. Farrington, who was clerk in Carroll County for 13
years.
Pat brings very good managerial and organizational skills to the job and she
has a real commitment to serving the public, Chief Justice Lynn said. He will
administer the oath of office to Lenz at the Carroll County Superior Court in Ossipee at
2:30 p.m. on June 18, 2004.
A 1981 graduate of Michigan State University, Lenz received a masters in education in 1995
from The State University of New York and a law degree from the Franklin Pierce Law Center
in Concord in 2001. She worked as a law clerk with the Superior Court from August 2001
through August 2003, the last year of which she was the Senior Law Clerk. She is currently
an associate with the law firm of Boynton, Waldron, Doleac, Woodman & Scott, P.A. in Portsmouth.
I am excited about joining the team at the Carroll County Superior Court and working
together with them to provide the best services possible for our citizens, Lenz
said.
Before beginning her career in law, Lenz was
the organ donation coordinator for the New England Organ Bank from 1992-1998 working with
potential organ donors and recipients, their families and participating hospitals
throughout New England. She also worked for the American Red Cross in Syracuse, N.Y. as a
transplant coordinator.
