RULES FOR USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN NH COURTS

NOV. 8, 2012--The New Hampshire Supreme Court will hold a full day of oral arguments in the above captioned case on November 14, 2012. The schedule for the morning and afternoon sessions is available on the Judicial Branch website. The Supreme Court building is located at One Charles Doe Drive, Concord, NH.

NO VIDEO OR STILL CAMERAS WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE COURTROOM EXCEPT FOR THE POOL ASSIGNMENT.

Courtroom seating for both the morning and afternoon sessions is limited.

The following procedures will apply:

•  36 seats have been reserved for parties to the case, during both the morning and afternoon sessions.

•  10 seats have been reserved for the media during both sessions. Media interested in reserved seating should call the Judicial Branch Communications Office at 603-271-2646 ext 2362.

•  50 seats have been reserved for members of the public during both sessions. Seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Persons interested in public seating for the morning session should line up outside the Supreme Court building, in a location designated by court security, by 8 a.m. The courtroom will open at 8:30 a.m. for the morning session. Persons interested in public seating for the afternoon session should line up outside the Supreme Court building, in a location designated by court security, by 12:15 p.m. The courtroom will open at 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon session.

•  NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED TO THE COURTROOM UNLESS THEY HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED A SEAT IN ADVANCE OF THE SESSION. If seats become available during a session, they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

•  Persons who do not have an allocated seat in the courtroom may watch the oral arguments live via webcast in the training room on the lower level of the Administrative Office of the Courts, at Two Charles Doe Drive, directly across from the Supreme Court building.

No public wireless access is available either at the Supreme Court or at the Administrative Office of the Courts
