New Phone Numbers and New Address New Hampshire Retirement System (NHRS) Phone: (603) 410-3500 Email: info@nhrs.org The New Hampshire Retirement System is a public employee pension plan. It is a defined benefit plan, which offers eligible retirees a secure lifetime pension. This website has general information about NHRS and describes the eligibility requirements for each of the benefits. There are 51,000 active members in the System. Employees and Teachers are in Group I and Police officers and Firefighters are in Group II. There are 18,000 retirees collecting monthly pension benefits.
