A Message from CJ Broderick

Chief Justice Broderick has announced he will be stepping down in November. This is his final message for e-Court Connections:

To all Judges, Marital Masters and Non-Judicial Staff:

The last several years have been extraordinarily challenging ones for all of us in the state court system and there will be some challenging years ahead. All of you have worked under stressful conditions and yet, somehow, you always do your very best. I will always be grateful to have worked with you and to have led a Judicial Branch of government comprised of people of your incredible quality and commitment.

The work you perform every day, although often below the radar, is fundamentally important to the day-to-day lives in New Hampshire and to the promises of our Constitution.

My life has taught me that change is good and a new Chief Justice will have the privilege to lead an extraordinary Judicial Branch.

On a personal note, please know how much I have appreciated all of your help and many courtesies during my time here. I will miss you.

Best personal regards,
John T. Broderick, Jr.
Chief Justice
