On November 15th, 2008 Daniel Webster College hosted MooreMarts 3rd Annual Christmas Stocking Drive in which 3,378 Christmas Stockings were collected and shipped to members of our Armed Services serving overseas. Part-time District Court Judge Paul S. Moore and his sister Carol Moore Biggio started the project. This shipment brings MooreMarts total care packages shipped to date to 18,542. This year's program was a joint effort by MooreMart, Governor John Lynch's Office, The New Hampshire National Guard, The American Legion and VFW, The City of Nashua Mayors Office, The New Hampshire Bar Association, HP and BAE Systems to bring a Holiday Care package to any citizen of the State of New Hampshire that is a member of the Armed Services serving overseas.

The Christmas Stockings/care packages were sent to servicemen and women from throughout the United States serving in the Middle East, the In and Out Processing Center in Kuwait ( to be distributed to members of the Armed Services who will be entering the Middle East during Christmas Week), to Chaplains in Afghanistan and Iraq ( to be distributed to soldiers at their base and to local orphanages), to citizens of the State of New Hampshire who are stationed at any military base outside the United States, retired veterans at the Tilton Veterans Home, Homeless Veterans at Buckingham Place and Liberty House and Recuperating Veterans at Walter Reed and Bethesda Military Hospitals.
This is the first year that MooreMart expanded its annual Christmas Stocking Drive beyond our troops stationed in the Middle East and collected an additional 1000 Christmas Stockings in order to make this goal a reality.
