From Chief Justice Broderick and AOC Director Don Goodnow:

We write to thank those of you who joined us by coming to the AOC on December 15 and gave a pint of blood to the Red Cross. The Red Cross reports that 49 people participated.

We also thank Jason Jordanhazy and Carolyn Bartlett for contributing their time to make the day go smoothly by organizing parking, assisting Red Cross staff with room setup, and scheduling staff to give blood. Finally, we are grateful to those of you who generously donated food to the blood drive.

This was a successful event thanks to all of you and your contributions. Every one of you made a huge contribution to our community by participating in this worthy cause.

Women of Granite

Women of Granite: 25 New Hampshire Women You Should Know is the first in a series of books to be published by Apprentice Shop Books of Bedford on "America's most notable and accomplished women." NH Supreme Court Justice Linda Dalianis is one of the 25 women featured in the book. One of the criteria used when selecting the subjects for the book were that all of these women all kept trying! And more often than not succeeded. The book was featured at the National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. in September, hosted by Laura Bush. "Women of Granite" was selected by the New Hampshire Center for the Book to represent our state!
