Juli provided participants with packets of information on guardianships which included checklist and forms necessary to begin the guardianship process in any probate court. By providing this information to people as their student transitions out of high school, parents and caregivers are better prepared to understand the probate court process and what the court would need to grant a guardianship if requested. "It was very rewarding to participate" says Juli "not only from a professional standpoint, but also personally."
Region 10, a private not for profit agency, coordinated the event at Pinkerton Academy, which included over 30 adult services organizations with a variety of information for parents and caregivers.
