In Case Nos. 2001-117 & 2001-118, Petition of State of New Hampshire; Union Leader Corporation & a. v. State of New Hampshire, the court upon March 13, 2001, made the following order:

Case numbers 2001-117 and 2001-118 are accepted for briefing and oral argument. The Clerk of the Lebanon District Court shall immediately notify the court reporter to proceed with the transcription of an original and three copies, on an expedited basis, of the hearings held on February 21, 2001, and February 28, 2001, and of the telephonic hearing held on February 26, 2001. The clerk of the trial court shall notify the clerk of the supreme court that the court reporter has been so notified. Transcripts shall be prepared by March 23, 2001.

The appealing parties (the State in 2001-117 and the Union Leader Corporation in 2001-118) shall each pay, on or before March 20, 2001, to the Clerk of the Lebanon District Court one-half of the total estimated cost of $2,193.75 of preparing transcripts for each party of record or the appeal will be deemed waived. Refer to Rule 15. If the clerk of the trial court does not timely receive the required payment, the clerk of the trial court shall so notify the clerk of the supreme court.

The appellant in 2001-117 and the appellant in 2001-118 shall each file an opening brief on or before April 2, 2001; answering briefs must be filed on or before April 13, 2001. Oral argument shall be scheduled during the April 2001 session on April 18, 2001.

On or before April 2, 2001, the appellant in each case shall arrange for the exhibits necessary to determine the transferred questions of law to be forwarded to the clerk's office. On or before April 2, 2001, the Clerk of the Lebanon District Court shall arrange for the sealed orders of the Lebanon District Court to be forwarded to the clerk's office under seal.
