Chief Justice John T. Broderick Jr. and members of the Supreme Court presented a certificate of appreciation on May 22 to the NH Chapter of the American College of Trial Lawyers for their "outstanding service in providing support, training and expertise to the staff of NH Legal Assistance and the NH Disabilities Rights Center" and for their "continuing commitment to Access to Justice for New Hampshire citizens." At a gathering in the Supreme Court conference room, the Chief Justice (center) presented the certificate to the chapter's state chair, Attorney James C. Wheat (seen above left of the Chief Justice). The trial lawyers provided training to NHLA and the Disabilities Rights Center on evidence, federal court practice and appellate advocacy.
