In Case No. 2002-0210, Petition of Representative Peter Burling & a., the court on June 7, 2002, issued the following order:

Oral argument shall be held on June 11, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. No request for a continuance will be entertained. Argument may be presented by the parties and amicus who have submitted a written proposal for the court’s consideration in devising its constitutional reapportionment plan, i.e., the petitioners, the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the House, and amicus Representative John Pratt. Each of said parties and amicus shall be permitted up to twenty minutes to present its own proposal and to comment upon other proposals without interruption from the court. At the conclusion of each presentation, the court may ask questions. The order of presentation shall be the petitioners, followed by the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the House, and Representative Pratt.

Consistent with the procedure being followed for oral argument in 2002-243, Petition of Senator Clifton Below & a., all parties and amicus who are presenting oral argument may bring technical advisors to oral argument. Technical advisors may, with the permission of the court, present a portion of the oral argument and respond to questions from the court. Any party or amicus presenting oral argument who intends to bring technical advisors to oral argument shall notify the clerk of court by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2002, of the names of such technical advisors so that seats may be reserved for them in the front row of the courtroom.

Brock, C.J., and Nadeau, Dalianis and Duggan, JJ., concurred.
