October 7, 2008--The Hillsborough County Superior Court building will open to the public at 7:30 am during trial in the case of the State v. Michael Addison. No member of the public will be admitted to the building prior to that time. The entrance to the courthouse will be closed at 4 p.m.
Those interested in attending the trial, at any time during the proceeding, will form a line outside of the courtroom as directed by the court officers.
Two rows of seating in the courtroom will be set aside at all times for the media.
Two rows of seating in the courtroom have been set aside by the court for persons connected to the case.
When the courtroom is opened, those in line will be admitted to the public seating area on a first come, first serve basis. Seats cannot be "saved" in the courtroom for any reason.
The court staff cannot honor requests from school groups or others for seating nor can any seating be reserved except as noted herein. All seating will be on a strict first come, first serve basis.
The court issued an order on September 10, 2008 permitting WMUR Channel 9 to broadcast live video and audio feed during the defendant's trial.
